...And I remove them fast as they place them on the signs.....

Oh, there's a hint of cool in the air, and Winter is coming! I've got to gather more firewood... And Sign stakes make great fire starters!

Ack! Bandit Signs are LITTER!

Hi:

I believe you can complain to google about unlawful content and get the videos taken down.

I know this has been done with other videos.

Would you be able to submit the complaint to google?

I flagged the video a few days ago and it is still up. I guess YouTube doesn't care.

Hi:

There might be a different way to submit a complaint about a video. Not sure - perhaps check Youtube help info?

how they do it -

The Sign Hammer

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=HVWGID0r6Cg#t=104s

The Sign Stapler
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=65iKo3XCiHY#t=42s

I think there needs to be equal time - how to remove signs, who to call at city hall to report them, etc..

Actually, that is a good idea. CAUSS could produce a video on street spam. It would promote law enforcement as well as the principles on which CAUSS stands.

I could do the video and edit it down, but I don't want to be in the video or do the voiceover, however.

It takes me less than 1/3 the time of the "SignHammer" method to remove the signs. It is kind of funny, because all spammers think alike: They move their signs up the poles when their signs keep disappearing. The longer they see them disappear, the higher they get. ....There are not poles high enough to escape "The Sign Claw"!!!

>It takes me less than 1/3 the time of the"The Sign
>Claw"!!!

We had this issue in the DFW area back some eight to ten years ago.
We called him the "computer guy". This sucker was plastering every wooden utility pole with up sixteen signs - each week - with new replacement signs at any given intersection.

As we removed he put them higher and higher until the signs were so high you couldn't read them while driving. He finally got the message and stopped the cat and mouse games.

Our secret was a no-brainer. We would stand on the side bed of a pickup and use our eight foot sharky stick. Total time to remove - <15 seconds.

For those with really high aspirations, I can stand on my truck hard cover. They cannot mount them higher than I can retrieve them!

After watching the dirty backyard barbeque seminars, or the smucks with the cute stapler gun, I don't think these guys don't have a clue what there doing.

Oh the first guy, he has a wild animal son ready to take the box cutter from him while making one sign into two, so he uses scissors. Good uupfront planning.

And wouldn't you want one large sign to squeeze all that info on, rather than doubling your work by scribbling everything onto two smaller version just to save .35 cents.

And who would do a deal with this guy, wearing the classic ghetto chain, from his low rent neighborhood. Give me a break!!

We all know the Sharkie stick is much more a lethal weapon no match for whatever the low lifes dream up next.

I think a You Tube Video would recruit more Sharks if its titled right to get the max hits. Maybe target the sign industry first or somthing with the words cheap street signs.Just got to think of a good title to get the most hits. Any suggestions?

A You Tube is an excellent way to get the word across.
But, we still have to be as stealthy as possible and not be openly visable except to the code enforcement guys.

Reason being, it is still on our radar, for those of us that have been around for several years, where one of our CO sharks that was run off the side of a mountain on his bike. And - he paid the ultimate penalty.

Needless to say the so called high powered European type car, allegedly a BMV didn't stop. The guy had just recently done a press interview and had his smiling face plastered all over the "tube" and local papers. The press in this case sure didn't do him any favors. If anything the press had the effect of throwing gas on the fire. This is one of the main reasons, those of us "orginals" don't and won't do press interviews. These guys have a knack for making you look like a total an "ID-10-T" error.

Living in Georgia, I have the added benefit of being able to open carry while sharking. I have had many spammers approach, only to back pedal. However, several got unruly and the last one in August came into my car after me. He met with my friend, Mr Smith, nose to nose. Yes, I prefer anonymity.
