Grabbed up about 30 of those pesky Singles signs this a.m. from freeway off ramps. First I've seen these in several years. Have they been regularly appearing anywhere else in the U.S.? I almost thought they'd given up.

I hope you picked them up. Time to hit them hard. I will start Thursday. They maybe funded a new advertising campaign. I have seen a few too. I'll grab some single signs to remember the good old days when I could get them often.
I pulled up 14 singles signs today in Bedford TX, more in other areas. Where is that 15th sign? Since they deploy them in groups of 15 or 25, I’m still looking for the 15th one. Several were deployed inside of apartment dwellings, on private property so residents will see them when exiting. Several were in grocery stores shopping center exits. A few were at major intersections.
So, look at apartment exits. You will see the white signs close to the ground. They are no longer putting them at major intersections of roadways in my area as in the past with multiple 4-corner emplacements.
I will be in some surrounding cities soon, and look forward to some “extra time” to collect these signs. It’s fun.
It was fun pulling them. It reminded how they used to deploy them years ago. Much fun to haul in a load. Much like fishing for fish, only no waiting, instant gratification. Turning the car around and backing up, brakes and gas… ugg.. I actually had Saturday morning alone on the road this morning in my quiet area.
A cop watched me 2 weeks ago stop in the middle of the road as I put my “hazard lights” on, and they did nothing. (This was not a singles sign, but a health work out fitness center sign – another major corporation) It was Sat morn about 7:30am. I got out and pulled the sign. I was surprised I was not pulled over for impeding traffic. I realized I was observed after I pulled the sign. This is a big CUUSS “NO NO”. Don’t do this. Don’t stop in the middle of the road. It can cause traffic accidents. Don’t do what I just described, unless there are no other cars around no cops watching, cameras…ECT.
The singles signs are putting them up behind "stop signs" exiting major affluent neighborhoods, shopping centers. They are not putting them at the major intersections in multiple as in the past. They have a new motives operandi. They have new methods now in place.
Just get them and feel the satisfaction.

Actually, they have pretty much disappeared from the Denver area. The illegal signs were taken down shortly after they went up, so they weren't very effective illegal advertising.
These have started popping up around the Puget Sound area of WA again, I suspect they are still Great Expectations. If anyone knows different please post the contact info. Thanks.
They used to blanket Baltimore County, but stopped completely in Sept 2009. In Sept 2010, a half dozen went up in one location and that was all. This past Dec, I found about 4 dozen in different places. It's as if they are "testing the waters" to see if the sharkey is still out there. He is!

Single? signs spammed here in PA, Dec 2011 -- roughly 100 signs locally. The advertised website names vary by locality. What's funny is most of the website names are different from the last time they spammed 2 years ago -- they must have let them expire and then registered new ones.
This illegit service goes by many names. Entries on Ripoff Report give insight into how they operate.
