"New Photo Group for everyone"

Hi everyone.
I found that it was MUCH easier to report illegal signs to my local (Dallas) CE's if I have a picture and simply email them the details of location along with the pictures, so.
I created a FLICKR group named
http://www.flickr.com/groups/illegalsignage/
Where I will let anyone who would like to to store pictures of these signs.
Most of the time I get a picture before I cut the sign up.
Come join the fun.

I say, bring em on.
You got my idea exactly. The group of Flickr can stay on forever, and it is free. There are those who may complain, but, they are the ones who are putting up the signs.
Thanks Pops.

Can you create folders within the Flick account? It may be helpful to create them by state.

Not within the Group. You can within each individuals account but the account is limited by # of pic's total and per month. Thats why I went to the "group" idea. They just stay there even after the individual has had to many. I welcome anyone to set up a group for their own state maybe. I have had such a rash of the local CE's tell me IF they ever have any repeat offenders they will go after them. Now I have proof of repeats, and the style of each companies signs make them easy to attribute when you see them all together. Since I also provide them with photos, location, phone number, names and everything, it makes it difficult for them to say they didn't know. I am really putting the ball in the lap of the CE's. If I just go pick up the signs, that does not happen.
I just got an email from a local city official that because of my prodding, I may have great news for the group soon. Can't tell secrets yet but let it be said again, getting local officials involved can cause better results than just doing it yourself.
Betty
