Well, it is new to me. We have a new source of street spam on utility poles in N. Dallas. They have several toll free numbers and all go to answering machines. They are playing on the unemployed (with some money, of course) because the signs either say something about "We might be able to use your talents" or they also have the "Insurance for your child" and a few other scams going. They are posting everyday even though I cut one sign and leave only the phone number (for the CE that I report it to). The next morning there is a new sign and they have taken to spray painting black on the back side to make the sign harder to see from the main street. I googled World Financial Group and Dallas and they have several local offices for their multi-level marketing. I fear they are going to get worse because they are new now but very persistent. So am I. Anyone else seeing their work? Betty
I'll look for World Financial Group in the mid-cities. The MLM people should get the hint fast, as they usually are start ups and have small budgets.
There has been an increase in the famous "We buy junk cars". I left him messages that I was picking his signs.
Signs around here get removed sometimes before I get a chance. It's nice to have help. I keep thinking the local fire department employees are helping when off duty, because I informed a few fire fighters two years ago.
Merry Christmas to those, and to all a good sign removal. As another year comes to a close, keep up the good work! And don't forget to help some kids and homeless people too. I donate food often to the local shelter.
