A street spammer in my area left a note on his sign that the area is being video taped, in an attempt to discourage me or other volunteers from taking the illegal signs.
I have seen this tactic before, it is B.S.
Has anyone else seen this before?

No, I have not heard of it. However, check code in your area to make sure the signs are illegal.

Maybe you should cut one of his signs in half and leave a Post-It Note reading:

I am being taped, but you are being sharked!

"It's 10 p.m. Do you know what Dumpster your street spam is sleeping in?"

I would be happy to show them what the moon looks like as I cut it down. If I thought they actually had a camera. Which I would bet against. Actually I would only cut down the part with the info. I am very happy to leave up the phone number only and report that to the CE's. This works with signs on poles or sticks. The one's on the wire stands I just slice in half. On my routes, they are rarely up more than a few hours. They never last through even one rush hour.

Ask him for a copy of the tape, you could use it as a training video for new sharks!!!!!
