About once a week, I remove street spam from a local apartment complex. I have called them and ask nicely to stop and they just tell me they will have ME arrested if they catch me removing THEIR property.(I know what a joke)

Anyhoo, the other day I went to pull up one of THEIR illegal signs and right before I grabed it I noticed someone had placed barbed wire around the bottom part of the sign frame. Good thing I saw it because it was clear they intended harm to anyone removing the sign.

Now that I think about, I should have left it and called the police, or better yet the media. I would love to see that complex manager explaining that one on the news.

Has anyone else ever expereinced any kind of booby trap?

I saw a sign once with some grease on the back. It got removed anyway

But in your case, it would have been great to call CE, the police, and the media. It would have been a great story.
