"It does my heart good..."

The volume of signs is way down in my AO... has been for some time.

I like to think that it's because I got every sign within 12 hrs of posting, often less than 8 hrs.

On my way home from work the other day, I saw a pole-mounted, hand scribbled sign. It was small, stuck up about 8 feet, and used poor handwriting. I couldn't make it out, even TRYING to - where's the work ethic among spammers?

Since I recently returned from vacation, and since there haven't been many signs, my shark stick was home in the garage. I picked up my pole with the intention of getting the sign the next day on my way home from work.

Too late! Someone else got it! Maybe I've been seen, and some other civic-minded person grabbed it. Maybe the CEO for the municipality... I dunno, but it was nice to see.

Hah! I said that two days ago, and this morning there were austinsingles signs in my neighborhood, and at lunchtime, I found a real estate spammer sign.

They didn't last long, of course.

I was kinda putting it out there as a morale booster for everyone - "here's a success story!"

But Ohio, if you must.

I was cruising home this evening and nearing that same corner, only to see a man preparing to post a sign!

ALERT!

Cruised around the block (cause traffic is heavy there), and prepared to pull into a driveway and shark that puppy!

What kind of sign was it?

"Crime Watch Neighborhood "

I cruised on home, smiling.
