"Ron Paul supporters not just doing street spam, according to Wired article."

Just pulled this from another forum.

http://www.wired.com/politics/security/news/2007/10/paul_bot
If Texas congressman Ron Paul is elected president in 2008, he may be
the first leader of the free world put into power with the help of a
global network of hacked PCs spewing spam, according to
computer-security researchers who've analyzed a recent flurry of
e-mail supporting the long-shot Republican candidate.

This makes the street spam seen less unintentional, or maybe a few misguided individuals are doing it.

Most people would not know where to find an email spammer. This shows me there is big money, connections, and knowledgeable people involved.
It may just be a "Big Conspiracy" that the other side is trying to make them look bad. Because it is breaking numerous federal laws, the odd of another candidate doing this is slim.

I will try to get a picture up once again. Incase it does not show up, it appears to be street spam on a utility pole.

I just tore down a bunch of Ron Paul banners placed on chain link fences next to the freeway. They are made of Tyvek but come down real easy with a snipper. Some of the Paul supporters just are not ethical.

Tore down 5 more... Christ these things are popping up everywhere. Fortunately they come down real easy. It looks like they take a lot of time making them and putting them up. So they are just wasting their own time doing this. They put them up, I take them down the next day.

I hope you aren't doing this in Mississippi. We have castle laws. If you are ignorant on the subject look it up.

Our entire town is covered with Ron Paul signs. Most people here are voting for him. He already has our county's support.

My question is, why do you hate freedom of speech so much? Why don't you move to China where they arrest people for freedom of speech, and press. If you love restriction, then that is the place to be.

<<I just tore down a bunch of Ron Paul banners placed on chain link fences next to the freeway.>>

Is this a privately owned fence? Built on private property? Even if the signs were illegally placed on private property, I would never trespass to steal private property. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I hope you realize that tampering with political signs is a felony, and I have now reported you to the local police and also notified the local Ron Paul meetup groups to keep an eye out for you.

Have a nice day.

I just don't appreciate people throwing away signs that we've put our own time and money into developing and hanging. At least they could be returned to a Ron Paul meetup group. I think it is childish to just rip them down. Why don't you guys meet with us and discuss alternative options?

Maybe there are more important topics in our nation right now than sign placement. Get involved with your country...please

This type of activity happens in every election and this election is more crucial than any that I can remember

It's up to 87% now! I guess that's what you're doing in between
posts here, eh? Voting on techcrunch?

How is Ron Paul doing in *real* polls?

I only voted once and you'll see the same results on MSNBC, CNN, and Yahoo polls. The mass media never advertises those polls because the elitists in this country do not want him to win.

Paul's not mentioned in the MSNBC poll ( http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22327166/ ) where Fred Thompson
has the lowest number at 11%.

The CNN poll ( http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/ ) shows Paul with 6%.

I cannot find a Yahoo poll.

What polls are you looking at?

The polls that have been quickly deleted or are hard to find. They won't show or advertise the polls that he does well on. It's sad, but he is being completely blacked out by the news networks. That is why we have to advertise for him as much as possible and why we get so mad when people undo the work that we've accomplished. Instead of looking at polls, why don't you go to you tube and watch some of his videos. You may like what he has to say about this country.

Ah...the old conspiracy theory.

Regardless of what I think of Ron Paul (heck, he's a Texan, right?
He can't be all bad!) and what he has to say about this country, I
still don't like his supporters trashing our streets by illegally
placing their signs in the rights of way.

Speaking of polls, have you read this?

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2007/12/ron-paulites-do.html

(Ignore the bit at the top that says, "Ron Paul supporters: Do NOT
read this. Please!")

That's on skewed repoter's way of looking at it. It's funny how he acquired 25,000 brand new donators and set an all-time record for one-day dontaions in the history of the United States on December 16th. Popularity falling...don't think so

I guess the pollsters aren't calling the right people, then.

I guess we'll find out soon enough...

We will definitely find out.

If anything, Ron Paul has attracted a lot of new people to the election process and the state of our country. More Americans need to be aware of hoe they are getting screwed by their government.

That's always a good thing. All we ask is that he and his
supporters do it legally.

I always vote.

That's good that you vote. Everyone should despite reports of the unfair Electoral College manipulating the system. As long as you vote, you've done everything you can.

Man, what is with you? Everything is a conspiracy to you. Rue Paul is not doing good in the polls because somebody keeps the good poll numbers hidden - oh, yeah, that's right. You need to stay off that Area 51 web site.

It is about time you little boys took some responsibility for your illegal actions, some of which are driving potential voters away.
