After explaining the situation and how her company is the end benefactor, one could politely drop a few hundred slivers in her trashcan, telling her this represents HER signs placed across America. Would this be better? Or kind of rude?

I'd get a picture of Maria and her office number, and put "Single" underneath, and poster them around town 867-5309
