Last night I sat on an intersection with a bad recurring sign problem. A police officer that I know spotted me and brought me some coffee. As we chatted a truck pulls into the meadian and starts sticking signs in the ground. This dummy runs across traffic to get every corner and approach. I confronted him when he was heading back to his car. the results are below.
I got the info for 1 avoid forecloser 1 I buy houses 1 Afordable workers comp 1 Signs like this 1 erase bad credit I took the 30 signs he placed in the ground to write citations He turned over the other 300 signs and H stakes in his truck He faild a field sobriety test, and received a few traffic citations, a littering citation, my citations, and a trip to the Gray-Bar.
For a long night that was priceless.
I will be sending citations to the folks that hired this sign runner this week also

Good Lord a-mercy, man you hit a home run on this one. I' Luv it. Hats off to you. This situation only happens once in a Blue Moon.
We've said all along that most of these runners (moles) and spammers all have some kind of skeletons in their closet. In other words they all have unfinished or neglected business with the law. Confronting them on the signs are "probable cause" or the way to put them away for a while since they'll likely have a fist full of FTA's.
>What a fine, fine story. I bet the people who paid him to >post signs will be really surprised to get the notices. >Thanks for posting.
I'm not as think as you drunk I am occifer! I's jus' puttin' up m'signs. Gottalotta work t'do 'fore i can finish this case off! Do you gotta bottleopener?
I hope that anybody that you catch drinking and driving, WHATEVER the circumstances, does jail time. Not just overnight till they sober up, but real jailtime. DWI is like putting someone in jail overnight for shooting off a pistol, but not sending them to prison because they didnt hit anyone... YET; its only a matter of time before they do it again and someone gets hurt. Just my $0.02 worth. But seriously, good job.
