At the local County Fair I picked up a whole bunch of little "Work From Home" and diet pill flyers. I guess another moron decided to try to spam the fair as well. I did manage to pick up almost all of those little flyers that were left there. Looks like a different idiot this time. These were much easier for me to pick up since they were in neat little piles placed in various locations around a certain area and I didn't have to go through the bathrooms this time. Also this herbaloser is going to be wondering why he ain't gonna be getting any calls.
Yesterday at the fair someone else tried a similar method but with bigger flyers that look like they were copies from a copy machine and they were placed in neat little stacks on tha table. They were advertising a fireworks show somewhere else. There was one held at the fair as well. Those flyers were also quickly removed by me.
When are these idiots going to learn that illegal advertising doesn't work?

Don't forget to send the culprits a firm (but polite) e-mail basically telling them that they are in a rip off scheme, will never make money, are breaking the law, and that they should request a refund from the up-line who scammed them. This will wear away at their resolve.

So, were the piles of flyers in a spot where they weren't supposed to be? Or were they blowing all over the place? Remember, if we take action to stop littering we have to be mindful that SOME placement of flyers, etc., is legal. In contacting these people I try to give them some suggestive comments as to what might work better and not offend (ads in the paper, flyers on legitimate bulletin boards, etc.) I also include a line about how, by them putting out flyers illegally and me taking them down, they have wasted time/money that could have been spent more productively. "Get a life!" they say "Get a job! " I reply

The little flyers were placed neatly in little piles around a certain area. They were not blowing around. They were illegally placed though.
