Uh oh. The savealotsigns web site also says Dealers Wanted. Make Money From Home. So, are we soon going to be seeing spam encouraging people to work from home selling spam? I guess it says a lot about the upstanding people in the sign business that no one reminds people to post the signs legally. That and they often have trouble spelling. More work for them, more fun for us.

I have NO problem with someone trying to make a living, but I DO have a problem with encouraging illegal activity whether for a profit or not. So I sent the following Email to these people:
Would you please notify customers that placing signs along roadways or on utility poles is illegal in most places? And it is also illegal to post signs on non-public property without the consent of the property owner or manager?
Simply advise them to check with their local government zoning office.
The main reason these placements are illegal is that they distract drivers and cause accidents.
I'm sure that is NOT your intention -- especially since you could be included in a liability lawsuit because your website encouraged it: "Street signs are the most aggressive way to advertise..."
