"So sad..."

I am assuming that nobody on this forum has ever sold a house with a realtor that posted the "Open House" or "House for Sale" signs on street corners?

Well if you said that you haven't you would be lying.

Don't you guys have family or friends to keep you occupied? Do you have nothing better to do than to rip down signs? It is really pathetic and embarrassing. I feel so sad for you...I truly do.

With that said, I hang signs all over the place and never had anybody rip them down...had code enforcement call me a few times but didn't follow up. I think most people on here do more talking than doing.

Do you guys wash dirty cars also? They make the streets look ugly.

How about picking up trash or feeding the poor? Wouldn't these be more noble things to do?

Alright guys good luck to you all. I am leaving in a few to hang some signs. Actually, I really am. About 50 in my neighborhood.

I pick up trash, and that includes illegally posted signs. The realty agents I use are told in no uncertain terms to abide by the laws when selling my homes.

You, on the other hand, contribute to the blight.

Your sour grapes fall on the roadside here.

Oh, there's a hint of cool in the air, and Winter is coming! I've got to gather more firewood... And Sign stakes make great fire starters!

Ack! Bandit Signs are LITTER!

Do you work or do you sit around and collect unemployment? I am assuming you probably don't have a job and sit around and collect checks from Obama.

Joejoe, please go through the archives so that you're not just repeating stuff that others before you have said hundreds of times, already.

Thank you.

Actually, I am a highly specialized mechanical engineer with my own company making between $75 and $200 per hour, depending upon the client and project. You, on the other other hand, are apparantly just a loser litterbug?

JoeJoe, why do so many real estate agents believe they are above the law?

One of your colleagues posted a sign illgeally last weekend on the parking strip on my property, violating three laws at once: placing advertising in a public right of way, placing an off-premises real estate sign (illegal in my city) and trespassing on my property. I took it down and left a copy of the relevant city code provisions taped to it.

Keep your garbage of my property and off public right of ways, JoeJoe. It's that simple.

Because its all about "ME!".... "ME, ME, ME!" It is never about what is actually right and wrong. "I'm special." The ego comes crashing down and they get vile when it is not about them!

Let me clarify. I am not a real estate agent. I am an investor.

So when all of you guys lose your homes to foreclosure because you spend your time removing signs rather than working, I will snatch your property up at a steap discount and sell it for a huge profit.

You guys really should do something more productive. Why not try and do something to make a little more money to provide a better life for yourselves and your family? Whouldn't this be a more responsible thing to do then working for free for the state? We all only have so much time in a day and it seems pretty pathetic that you guys spend your time doing this...just my opinion.

Oh and to respond to tomato stake, I am an electrical engineer with one of the nations largest companies. I just choose to operate a personal business in my off hours rather than just being a nuisance to others.

Good luck to you all!

And I have a day job, too. In my off hours, I work towards the betterment of my neighborhood and my community. Instead of taking from the community, I work to improve it. And that includes removing illegal commercial signs. I stopped counting at 6,000, and that was 7 years ago.

So sorry again... You are not much different than a bottom feeder, taking advantage of people's misfortune. In fact, the "investor" folks are the worst of the worst with the illegally placed signs around here. I go out of my way to consfiscate them as litter.

Not much chance of my home being forclosed upon... I own it outright. (As are the three cars I own.)

Got more insults bottom feeder? Water off a duck's back to me, as I have bettered the neighborhood in which I live.

Do you know that the average life of a bandit sign is 2 days? If you don't get to them by then then code enforcement will. This means that you are just doing our job for us. Some people I know go around and take the signs down before the weekend is over just to avoid CE. So by you doing this you are just preventing CE from seeing them and saving us the trouble.

By the time you get to them thousands of eyes have already seen them an thier costs are worth thier weight in gold. So please don't think that this is going to deter any serious business people from putting out signs. It may scare of the weak but they are destined to quit any way.

'fruit stake' if you want to call me a bottom feeder I have no problem with that. I am solution to those in foreclosure...no more no less.

Good look collecting those signs!!! I am sure it is making a real difference in your lives.

Wow JJ,
You sure told him. Your,,speling is reely gud too. I bet it attracks a tun of customers. No engineer in this world would spell like you do so you must simply be a liar also as well as a street slug.
Your BS about folks removing signs is actually helping you is wonderful. It is exactly why I changed my tactics and advocate that others do also. All of your little signs on wire legs are simply cut in half when I report them to the CE's. That leaves them unreadable and I promise you that none in my neighborhoods last 2 days. Go ahead and put it up on a utility pole, I will happily slice it so as to leave your phone number,,only,, and I will report that so the CE can find it.
Go ahead and tell us again how you are helping the poor folks in our towns. You are a bottom feeder and when you look at yourself every day in the mirror you know it is true.
Betty

Actually, the average life of a bandit sign is only two hours in these here parts. What I don't get, CE does. In fact, CE picks up the signs from my drop-off point and follows up on them. I can tell you that the bandit signs folks give up on my "circuit" very quickly. They KNOW the signs don't last. Only the new-to-the-area bandits/litterbugs come to play with my anymore...

You now fail to interest me, B'bye!
