Here is what I am dealing with in Hampton/Newport News.

The only type of signs I don't take down are "Open House," little league, soccer league and other such kids sports announcements. But they come down if they are up too long. I also remove FSBO, For Sale and For Rent.

My feeling is that if you let one, more will come because people will think it is ok to post signs of all kind.

I found a site where this person had left a sign in the past and someone had destroyed the sign and left in there and they had posted a new one. I took one of his stakes and left a note.

I told him his sign was illegal and also told him to "keep his god to himself."

I've take down approximately 50 of these.

Saw some Jesus ones years ago, all the way to California from Vegas. I then thought this is no ordinary spammer, but an over zealuous missionary, probably thinking he's doing his part to make the world a better place... so I had to destroy it. Sorry God, but I beat you to it.

Isn't that whats he was going do anyways, destroy it, to get rid of spammers, sinners etc...?

What does God say about civil disobedience? Huh, huh, huh! Tell spammer he aren't allowed to nail things to poles. Jesus doesn't like it either.

I've left two notes on his empty stakes. Apparently he does not have email because he does not reply.

I have taken down at least 60 of these signs, 5 from the same location!

My daughter says people leave me threats on signs they have placed too. Me? I never read the litter.

I had one spammer leave me notes on the back of his signs, I was so scared!!!

After reading his note I had to remove all his signs so he didn't scare anybody else.

My "God" spammer is taking to stapling his signs up above reach. I now carry my garden rake in the bed of my P/U. No problem.

Mathew 24 put up this one up outside his church at Mcleod and Russell.

I almost missed it. I can hear the preacher saying now, "Good job Mathew, putting up spam on tha pole outside. That will get the message out that Jesus is destroying peoples lives with earthquakes, and you better be ready for his arrival. Can I get an Amen?"

I had to destroy it.

Yeah, a spammer did that here once. Someone sliced right down the middle of his sign and note taped to the top of the sign. I later saw the expression on his face looking at the sign - priceless!

Well this guy found the CAUSS site.

I love it when someone who is violating the law says they are "under opposition."

I must be having an effect on this guy. He has cut the size of his signs down to half the size.

I have removed approximately 300 of these signs from around the Hampton and Newport News area.
