In the past week, yellow coroplast spam reading "Let Me Buy Your House" has been showing up illegally in public right-of-ways -- mostly zip-tied on freeway traffic safety signposts -- in the Salt Lake Valley.

The signs bear the phone numbers (801) 471-2000 or 471-2002. Please call the spammer (a group of "investors" -- mostly likely mortgage fraud con artists) and let them know you disapprove of their illegal activities.

Such signs in recent days have been removed from the Fort Union offramps from I-215 (four signs), the eastbound I-215 offramp at 2000 East (5 signs), the 600 South offramp from I-15 (2 signs), the 500 South onramp to I-15 (2 signs), 400 South near Redwood Road and other locations.

Let's let these jokers know CAUSS-Utah means business and won't tolerate their illegal advertising on public roads and facilities. If you see these signs, stop and remove them please!

The phone numbers are Sprint-distributed, they are common in Provo, so that is where the spammer may be based, but I haven't seen any here yet.

I'll try to see what might be up on the far west/south side of the valley, I have to go up that way tonight or tomorrow.

A relative caught this spammer in the act a week or so ago placing signs in Murray, UT. The license number was captured and turned over to Murray police code enforcment. The spammer received three citations and was ordered to remove all the signs.
