"After School/Summer Jobs 801-427-5837 "

That subject line is the gist of a large number of paper spams being posted in Provo today.

These are printed on varying colors of paper stock, have pull tabs at the bottom, and are posted near the junior highs and high schools here. The person's name who is posting the spam is Lita, you can reach her at 801-427-5837 (last four are easy to remember, just think of KUER radio call letters, although she has no affiliation with them). That's a Cricket cellphone, those usually have answering machines embedded so everyone feel free to contact her or leave a message about her spam.

This is a known flagrant spammer, has been around for at least two years now.

Probably recruiting crews for door-to-door magazine sales.

The "pimp" picks up a carload of kids, takes them out of state,
then puts them to work selling subscriptions.

Funny how the spam and scams travel state to state...I love it when they show up at my door, they insist that their legit. I tell them who would travel across country staying in hotels trying to raise money for school.... you cant possibly have a brain unless your rip ping off Joe Public.... Go back to your dive motel by the airport before I call the cops..... Then they reply have a good night, God Bless... I say leave God out of this..

Turns out this is related to the '1888974jobs.com' scam, reported separately on the Utah forum.

Pulled one off a 'no parking' sign on 13th West in Salt Lake between the TRAX station and the Wal-Mart there a day or two ago.

I called this lady, but never mentioned her spam. It must be 5am in Utah, and she did answer the phone. Her son has Not been in trouble for 3 years now due to this program.

They have no website. They will be part of “national team apprentice” organization soon, and the website for this is being built soon. I did find a website by the Department of Labor. (http://www.doleta.gov/oa/national.cfm) using this same name “national team apprentice”. The domain nmae nationalteamapprentice.com has never been registered and is still available.

This lady is a manager for a small part of the city. Other managers cover other parts of the city. The main organization is called Circulation Marketing. (http://www.circulationmarketing.com/) based in Salt Lake City. They also operate in Canada.

I was first approached many years ago by magazine selling kids trying to win a vacation trip. I purchased magazines and never received them. I clearly remember writing a check for $26, with inflation; it would be close to $50 now. Buyer beware here, you may not receive anything.

Got seven fresh ones nearly a year later near the Provo Teen Center and the old National Guard Armory. Same exact spams, same methods. This is the intersection she targets due to the teens that come here.

Lita works for the Daily Herald newspaper, that can be found at http://www.harktheherald.com/ and this is a circulation person, based on other spams found here in the past bearing the same phone number at the same location, have seen a variety, but multicolored paper with pull tabs appears to be her favorite.

Look near the two high schools and junior highs as well, haven't seen any by Dixon yet, though.
