Harris County contacted me today to let me know that a 4 foot x 8 foot Remax realtor sign, illegally placed in the public right of way on Kingsland Boulevard near Mason Road, had been removed. A complaint had been filed last week that the location of the sign was causing school children to walk a narrow 18 inch gap between the curb and the sign, posing a safety threat to those children and other pedestians in the area. Precinct 3 and Commissioner Radack, 281.463.6300, have consistently addressed public concerns about illegal signage.
