There are a lot of large "Rodeo Tickets for sale" going up on Westheimer from Fulshear on in. Especially at Hwy 99 & Westheimer. Took some down the other day but they are back up... Could use some help.

Janie,
It's great to know someone is looking after the Fulshear and FM 1093 areas.
I took down at least 20 'Rodeo Tickets for Sale' signs in west Harris and north Fort Bend Counties during the last two weeks. Saw some of them today but didn't have time to pull them down. Will do tomorrow.
Keep up the good work and let me know where I can help.

Time is my problem also. I have been removing signs betweeb Fulshear & FM359. I could use some help around the Hwy99 & Westheimer area. The signs are too high for me. I dont feel save at that intersection.

Who would feel safe there? It's a very restrictive area with no place to pull off. Sometimes it's just not worth the risk to personal safety regardless of the amount of spam present.
I suspect that those spamming this particular intersection show up in the wee hours or they just don't care about their safety or that of other motorists.
If the spam is within the public right of way, TxDot can be notified at 281.238.7900. A complaint can be lodged with Mary. TxDot have been exceptionally good about removing 4x8 plywood signs that have popped up in the right of way along FM 1093 and elsewhere.

Pulled down 12 Rodeo Ticket signs plus some others today west of the FM 1093 / Hwy 99 intersection.
Was heading east on FM 1093 into the Hwy 99 intersection and spotted 4 Window Washer signs plus one for a kids Soccer League. No traffic behind so got out and pulled two. Before I was able to get back in the car, half a dozen cars came swooping down and I barely got back in my car before they went past. Fortunately, the signals had been set to blinking red because of the construction activity, so it was like a 4-way stop and forced traffic to slow to a reduced speed.
The intersection is absolutely unsafe. Strongly recommend TxDot be contacted at 281.238.7900 to file a complaint about the illegal signage in the right of way and attached to traffic sign posts/polls.
