"Now the jerks who print the spammer's signs are spamming!"
It was bound to happen. The low-lifes who print the signs are now posting their own signs, advertising "50 signs for $80" or something similar. This last week, a whole bunch showed in along Mockingbird Lane in Dallas. They are mostly gone now..he he.

Thre are two long time sharks in that part of town, that have been very active for a longtime. The signs are not apt to stay up very long, regardless of who they belong. You'll see those types of signs in various parts of town from time to time. They don't normally stay up for very long, before being removed.

I've yanked dozens of these jabbed into the ground in Southern California, too. The signs are real cheap, almost homemade in appearance--they seem to consist of typing paper glued to white coroplast with an inexpensive acetate layer on top. The signs say something like "50 signs for $89" and include an 800 number and website URL. I'd post the specific contact information here, however I just put a load of their signs in a Dumpster recently
I've actually called the spammers (from a pay phone) several times--they are in the South somewhere (Tennessee, I think). I demanded that they stop spamming and told them their signs were removed within hours of the massive placement (which is true; they were put out one evening and gone as the sun came up).
Once, I actually told them, "I know this isn't the only call you've gotten telling you to quit blighting our cities." They claimed they've never before received a complaint. So, I suggest we all inundate them with calls from whatever cities you spot their signs.
That technique may work--after I removed about 100 in Orange County, California the day before Christmas eve, and called to tell them I did so--they have not yet re-appeared.
"It's 10 p.m. Do you know what Dumpster your street spam is sleeping in?"

These sound like the ones that use shrink wrap to hold the paper on and protect somewhat from moisture. These are some of my favorites because, after you remove the shrink wrap, the white Coroplast is virgin. At one point these spammers used two chop sticks to hold the sign in the ground.
