"288 - south of Houston"

anyone seen the mess on 288 between HWY 6 and Rosharon Rd. on the weekends? several builders each post five signs abreast about every quarter mile. i've been chomping at the bit to clean these up, but it would take a month of sundays by myself.

i'll match gas money and legwork if someone's interested in helping. in the mean time i'll continue working to keep midtown, the montrose and the heights clean.

Have you tried driving down the ROW and just plowing them down.

I have done that a couple of times when the ditches were dry.

I hope you're joking - if any state trooper, constable, sheriff's deputy, or local PD sees you doing such, you're likely to be put thru something worse that a DWI stop.

Ha! I've done that with hundreds of signs. The county police man laughed at the next light.

Oh, there's a hint of cool in the air, and Winter is coming! I've got to gather more firewood... And Sign stakes make great fire starters!

Ack! Bandit Signs are LITTER!

Then I waved, the cop gave me the thumbs up. I backed up and picked them up and placed them into the bed of my truck. It just was easier than pulling up each one individually.
