Garage sale annoucements, weight loss posters and promises to sell your "home for free." The City of San Antonio is cracking down on bandit signs.

Frustrated homeowners attended a training session Thursday night to understand what constitutes a "bandit sign" and how they can legally remove the unauthorized signs.

The signs are normally found staked in the ground or stapled to telephone polls. They're becoming a problem some complain is cluttering up neighborhoods across the city.
