Chanel 11 in Houston is running a story about FM-1960 residents reporting spammers to the BBB and getting results.

This quote, "'Right now, we can walk through this area and see nothing but grass,' said Lipton." gives me hope for my part of town.

This gentleman and a few of the senior members of the Northwest Harris County Chamber of Commerce, including at least one past president of the CC, have been extremely active in the 1960 area of Houston for at least five of six years.

They filed a law suit against David Weekly sometime back for blanketing an area around 1960 with builder signs. The publicity was squashed in a heartbeat. It was our understanding that the signs all but disappeared overnight.

They have a highly organized citizens group that are extremely proative. Whatever they're doing is obviously working.
