"Another Aggressive Spammer"

During the past several weeks, there's been another aggressive spammer running rabid in the North Dallas area.

If you see any of these signs, please pull them or at least lay them down and we'll get them ASAP.

I have been collecting many signs from two groups in my area; New Homes 2 Day and a credit repair agency promoting to Stop Renting -- I think they said they were called Allied. (By the way - the credit repair states they are an attorney based company who knows the law.) I called the New Home 2 day folks and they were very rude and at one point indignant, telling me to get a life and then hanging up on me. I called back again the following day and asked them to pick up their signs and the owner, a Douglas Smith in Carrolton hung up the phone when he came to the phone. Finally he told me I could pick up as many as I wanted because he had more and "that if it were against the law than come arrest him." I was trying to be firm but courteous and that did not work. I have been picking their signs up in particular because of the manner they responded. He referred to me as a loser-pu**y to his coworker and then hung up the phone again. The follwing week I spoke to one of his sales reps from Arlington and he stated that his boss instructed him to put them whereever he wanted because its freedom of speech (that same old tired stance for violateing ordinances. I am just plain tired of these people operating outside the law. By the way, the credit repair company who states they are an attorney-based - I called them and asked to speak to their legal counsel, who was not there or ever returned my call. Please help in sharking as many of these signs as possible.

I think I'm pulling the same ones down here in Houston, just a different number, while someone else is sharking them as well. Strange that I have a couple dozen in the back of my truck and none are the Stop Rent signs. Just like hemorrhoids, these folks are persistent.

Guilty as charged on the sharking....

Even though I myself am not fond of sharking, I started sharking this particular miscreant's signs in hopes it would sink into his thick skull that the signs were not being removed by the area landscaping crews. Occasionally if they realize they are deliberately being cut, they slow down.

Nothing has slowed him down but I refuse to give up. I pull 25 to 30 twice a week in my small "home" territory... I am also tagging one or two of his a week with stickers.

Lets just hope HB 599 and/or HB 600 pass and we can eventually go after the beneficiary....

Wow. These signs are the spitting image of the New Homes Solutions
signs that we've been harvesting in Austin for years. Now, we're
seeing the same signs with "New Home Locators" on the bottom. The
NHS signs have not gone away.

I even saw some with "Solutions" spray-painted out (not sharked,
because the phone number was intact). I'm guessing that Mr. Locators
used up his stock of Solutions signs. Don't want to be wasteful!
