"Rent wars"

In the last few weeks I've noticed that there seem to be two groups posting "Why Rent?" or "Stop Rent" signs (or signs like that) in the north Dallas area, and they're fighting with each other.

There have been heavy infestations of signs along Midway, especially at the Timberglen and Rosemeade intersections (both heavy apartment areas). I make sign runs regularly, and I'm starting to notice that one group seems to pull the other's signs and put their own up instead (or, in some cases, they put their signs right in front of the other's signs). A couple of weeks ago, all of the signs in one of the intersections had been pulled up, leading me suspect that each group had come by and pulled up the other group's signs.

And on a totally unrelated subject, I had some fun yesterday. I pulled up a bunch of signs from an intersection, then went out for a cup of coffee. When I drove by the same intersection, it was plastered with signs again (different ones)! It was fun pulling them up knowing that they couldn't have been there for more than a few minutes.

These two have been running hot and heavy for the past several weeks.
I've been OTS (out of town) for the past week. I made a run in and around the Wally SuperCenter on Frankford and Marsh Ln this AM and found several within a two block area of Wallys.

Also removed about twenty of their associates along BushWay 190 in Carrollton.
