The Philly metro area is getting hit with the "Finally! Affordable Life Insurance! signs from Mega Life representatives. Is there any way to contact Mega to get the reps to stop posting signs. Or are there any other strategies for stopping or slowing them down?

Hi, SignShark:
We got rid of them in Denver a few years ago. It took continual sharking and removing of signs. When we saw one, we went on the lookout for others and usually removed them within hours of going up.
I suggest you contact your state insurance commission. Complain about the signs - they are probably not even aware that the signs are going up. Ask what the law is on the signs. If the signs are illegal, keep complaining.
Also get Code Enforcement involved. Check with them to see if the signs are illegal (which they undoubtedly are). Keep calling with specific locations until they remove the signs - which is their job. I have found that most CE departments and officers are very interested in eliminating these rashes of illegal signs.
Also, do a search on the general and Colorado forums for "Mega Insurance" and "Affordable health insurance". There have been a number of posts exposing who these idiots are.
