What is their strategy? (nailed to pole, wooden stakes, metal "frame") - do they put them on every corner, or do they concentrate on off-ramps, etc?

I've found that matching the designs of the signs- including color and text other than the url/phone, as well as identical placing strategies, goes a long way toward identifying the people who are sucker/downlines of each other, or working for the same general location.

This batch was all on stakes - all but a few were on wire ones at the end of residential side streets entering major roads (NC63 and US74A) and the others were on wooden ones at store parking lot exits (Tunnel Road business district).

I have not seen any of those signs here in my patrol area. Some new signs popped up in durham over the weekend and were gone this morning, so someone's active here. I'm tempted to start painting signs to discourage the idiots and stickering a few to let others know about this site.

I don't paint signs, but there are at least two people within about twenty miles of here who do.

I generally leave the painted signs up, because they DO seem to have somewhat of a deterrent effect.

Definitely more so than slicing both sides of the sign off and leaving the centeral strip as a "warning," which I tried for a while. It didn't work, because these people are either incredibly desperate or just unbelievably stupid.

Or, more likely, both.

Keep up the good work and go with whatever method works best for you.
