"1-800-GOT-JUNK sightings in Raleigh"

I guess it had to happen sooner or later, Raleigh is now
being targetted by the 1-800-GOT-JUNK people.

I'm yanking them as quick as I see them. These are fairly
distinctive-shaped signs, short and elongated. So far, they
seem to be contained to inside the city.

Sharks in other cities might want to keep an eye out for them.

This is kinda off-charter for CAUSS, but you may also want to check and see what the ordinances are for off-premise parking for the purpose of advertising. Here in Dallas, I've got one of their trucks that keeps being parked for the better part of a day in a highly visible area, although it's obvious they're not there to pick anything up. It may be worth it to send them a letter advising them of local statutes and that they're being watched based on reports of violations by other franchisee's in other cities.

The Atlanta franchisee finally got the hint and (I believe) stopped with the idiot signs on utility poles and wire-stabbed on the roadside. I let them know from time to time that, indeed, I had some junk to get rid of---in the form of illegal signs that had been removed. I'm pretty sure the home office suggests spamming as a legit method of marketing--too bad.
