I returned to Rte. 106/107 in Nassau County. Numerous political posters were discovered on (and removed from) the telephone poles there. The main purpose of my revisit, however, was to clean up the coroplast signs I saw last month.
To my surprise, the spam was gone! Somebody on the Island must be reading this message board, or else is a kindred spirit in cleaning up his neighborhood.
