I suspect CE may have finally got to the famous $8.00 carpet cleaner spammer, he changed his M.O. from spamming utility polls and traffic control devices to staking his signs on mostly (what he thinks is) private property. However, he clearly does not understand that most private property doesn’t start until 12 feet from the edge of the curb.

I don't see as many, but the ones I do see I shark.

Yea he don't quit. Just saw another one of his famous $8.00 dollar signs with the big Number 8, and the big $ sign, at Buffallo and Sunset.

Clean Sweep, I was reading an old topic "15 years removing signs" and you spotted a guy putting up carpet cleanning signs. You called the police. That guy and this guy are partners.

His partners signs have almost been extinct now for some months until you spotted those rare signs, I think at DI/Jones?

I'll remember the 12 foot ROW setback when they catch me removing.

Finished my sweep today.

I got the whole west side from Warm Springs to DI between Ft. Appache and Rainbow.

Cleansweep, you got Durango/Russell? You know I missed that spot both days glad to see you picked up where I was slacking.

If I take Ft Apache north to DI then Durango south to Russell, Russell don't let you get north on Buffalo. I'll take a detour down Tropicana to Buffalo, skipping Russell.

Good call, this intersection gets hit alot. Did you find both carpet spam, or the AC spam, the new solar screens spam, or all of the above?

Found spam starting at Russell/Ft Apache going along the southbound side from Flamingo. Then it turned eastbound on Flamingo with some new stuff, but only on the west side of the intersections to Torre Pines, none at Rainbow. Any new stuff was the Psychic on this route.

Didn't find much on this two days of sharking. Was hungry after the sharfest.

I happened to be in the area for a meeting so I sharked what I could. I didn't see much on Durango North of Russell.

I've seen all of the above. I haven't had much luck sharking these as traffic has been too heavy at the times I see them. One thing I noticed is the Carpet/AC/Solar Screen guy removes the $8.00 Carpeting Cleaning signs when he puts his signs up.

Today I went out after removing the night before. Checking the response time for Spamkies. Must say they sure are slacking today.

But I got some $8.00 dollar signs out in the desert, standing alone. The new ones that popped up yesterday were at Buffalo/Sunset, Dewey/Rainbow, I think you sharked one their last month Clean Sweep. More at Rainbow/Oquendo, Russell/Ft. Apache. Oh yea Buffalo/Russell. All zipped tied to fences, the Dewey sign was in the ground.

Yesterday I got one at the corner of Durango/Flamingo, SW corner, in the ground.

All the new signs are printed from the printer, not the old political signs from in the past. Its sure going to be an expensive summer for spamkin.

On another note, I was sharkin Tuesday afternoon when I spotted a new $8.00 dollar carpet cleaner sign at Dewey/Rainbow. Came back later that night and it was gone. He replaced it Friday and I quickly ate that one. It was fresh eating.

Spotted more of the same from this past summer of Sharkin.

Only spotted two signage of $8.00 dollar carpet cleaning, one at Buffalo/Sunset and one at Decatur/Warm Springs. Both were way off the roadway, either on a fence, or in the ground. I used to see more along Jones from Warm Springs, and some along Rainbow, Buffalo, Durango from Warm Springs.

Also cleaned the signage you reported Clean Sweep in post "bad things happening in the valley".. $8.00 guy is changing his M.O., using sticker posters now. Cleaned all at 215 exit for Eastern. Your right Clean Sweep there was over 20 there.

You know he lives just up the street from there?

Spotted more of the $8.00 dollar/room Carpet Cleaning signage, on yellow paper, size 11x18, Tuesday August 21,2012.

I spotted this signage along Eastern, at Windmill. Clean Sweep, do you see it much along Eastern further south? Do you still remove? I don't get to this area much, so it was a surprise to see this guy is still active in this area. I didn't spot anymore further west at MD Pkwy. or south on Eastern. Not far from here on Md. Plwy,I spotted him once, and followed him north on Md. Pkwy to a home on Country Skies. Sometimes a white, beat up Chevy "carpet cleaning van" is parked here, not his typical beat up green van I was following. I see it driving around town with his signage logo on the side. Can't miss it if you see it. Some old topics have it in the photo attachments.

I also have to say, I'm not around town as much anymore to see any spam that I would search out in the past. Need to make a few field trips to Sunset/Buffalo area for illegal signage. My driving takes me from Eastern/Russell to Eastern/Warm Springs.

Code seems to have stopped alot of past "Spam" reported on this forum, at least south of Russell on the eastside. Two that come to mind is "Poster Boy" who advertised "In Concerts at LVH", and "Gun Show" on utility poles. He always used bright orange, poster size paper. Remember?

I guess this $8.00 guy is never gonna quit. An old employee told me he does drugs, and didn't always pay him. Bad carpet cleaner, Bad!

I have seen the $8 carpet cleaner signs and have removed them. When I don't remove then because of time restraints they still don't last very long, he uses blue painters tape which doesn’t seem to hold very well to the utility poles and transformer boxes.

I just got some new signs ("Make money from Home") last night at Eastern and Serene, first I've seen of these.

On another note. Some coroplast popped up at Sunset Pecos. First I seen any at this intersection in a long time, the Coroplast type. I see the paper "Carpet" here every month or so. Taped to electric boxes.

This Friday, got over that way along Sahara from I-15 west to Decatur, then south on Rainbow, right in the rats nest. Only seen some Coro- on the traffic light poles at Arville.

Couldn't make out the message. White coroplast and hand scribbled. Maybe the carpet ones.
