I'm looking for a partner to assist with sign removals on the southwest side of town between 215 & Blue Diamond, along Jones & Rainbow. I figure twice a month we can hit up the streets and tear every piece of crap sign down, quickly, and efficiently.

I already hit these areas on a very limited basis, although wouldn’t mind working with you here and there. If we were to team up, we should also hit Blue Diamond while we are at it.

Southwest sign Terminator, you may want to try stickering some signs in an effort to gain some support in your area. By stickering, your able to inform others of where to go for support (www.CAUSS.org) and you may just recruit others in your area who hate to see this garbage just as much as you do. The more people we have removing street spam the cleaner our city will look. Here's how stickering can help. Below is copied from another forum, I hope it is helpful:
>1. Tell the street spammers that the public will not tolerate their >illegal signs.
>2. Tell the public that the signs are illegal (many people assume >that they are legal).
>3. Tell city officials and CE that the public wants the signs dealt >with. Even though the sign is sharked and disabled, it is still >present - and in addition, the public knows that it is illegal and >that the city is not dealing with the problem.
>4. Gets the attention of the media. After a stickering campaign 6 >years ago or so, we were covered anonymously by major TV stations >and papers.
>Most of the stickers I have seen say something like:
>HELP REMOVE >ILLEGAL SIGNS >www.CAUSS.org >Citizens Against Ugly Street Spam
>THIS IS LITTER >PLEASE REMOVE >www.CAUSS.org >Citizens Against Ugly Street Spam
If any of you Sharks out there have any pictures they can share, please post.
If you decide to sticker, and I hope you do it works, please place the sticker over the sign so the phone number is not readable. Also, please go back after a while and completely remove the signs that you stickered, were here to make our city a nice place to live.
Good luck and watch the forum for citizens that want to help you in your area.
