This Pooper Scooper guy has been making a mess everywhere. I see his signs in Las Vegas, Henderson, residential areas, as well as industrial areas. His MO is to tape his signs to utility transformers.

I had a great night Friday. I hit Eastern from Sun City to Sunset, Horizon from Seven Hills to Gibson and a bunch a streets in between.

I ran across some new spam "Discount Grooming". I bet his signs were up no longer than three hours. This guy thought he would take advantage of the shoppers at Wal-Mart by placing his signs on every pole in front of Wal-Mart (I-215 & Eastern), had to been about 30 signs, poor sap.

Went back out on Saturday, I hit Decatur north of Blue Diamond. All the usual spam. I didn’t get them all but I made a good dent. I moved on to LV Blvd, Blue Diamond to St Rose. I removed most and sharked a few. I don’t understand why these residents leaving their neighborhood, that have to go past a stop sign that has 8+ signs zip tied to it, would not clean this up themselves.

Total signs for the two days, 200+.

Making a difference and keeping it clean

pops,

I think Las Vegas may be the spam capital. It's remarkable how many different scams show up in your pictures and how many poles have multiple spam. Dallas was like this is some locations 7-10 years ago but not any more. I'd like to think the citizen sign sharks have changed things in Dallas area. Let's hope you can light a fire under more like-minded citizens in LV and get the same result.

Keep up the great work!!

A question about these poles with five or more signs vertically stacked. Do all the signs go up at one time? That would suggest the sign maker is hanging them for others. On the other hand, if the signs are put up more or less at random intervals, that suggests people are hanging their own.

I havnt connected all the dots(signs) but I see a pattern. One thing is for sure the carpet guy works the west side mainly and strikes almost imediatetly when his disapears.

In most cases, I see only one sign going up at a time. There have been times where I seen two signs appear, however its clear that its the same person. The signs the same material, size color, font etc. Example: "We fix computers" and "We fix Credit" usuialy go up at the same time.

I can just hear their attorney in court now -- "We value the good name of 1-800-GOT-JUNK and these illegal signs give the company a bad name. All drivers are instructed to stop their truck and remove any signs they see. The stapler is just for the protection of our drivers."

Notice the "50 Signs for $89" sign in the background? I've removed about 300 to 400 over the past few years in Southern California. They are very erratic about when they place them, but they really carpet bomb a street and community when they do. They could care less about the litter and blight they produce, and they don't care whose property the violate with their junk.

Their website is:

http://www.speakenterprises.com

The signs have an 800 number, so if you see their trash, feel free to make sure to let them know when their signs have been removed. In fact, it's good to let them know over and over again

"It's 10 p.m. Do you know what Dumpster your street spam is sleeping in?"

Looks like the 50 signs company is running a national campaign. This company out of Houston needs to be stopped.

Nice picture on the sign. This is the same style of sign placement. It never appears on a corner or pole, but placed along the road in groups of 4-5. You guys in other states could file a complaint with the Texas AG.

I remember that Houston company now. They have paper sheet that is shrinkwrapped over piece of white coroplast. They had a lot of signs in the Dallas area, especially for some of the singles scams about two years ago. I always thought they were a two bit operation because of the labor-intense shrink wrapping "technology" they use. It's surprising to learn they are in Vegas and California. I still find it hard to believe that this is cost competitive for a high volume sign maker. If I remember right, this operator was also a part-time piano tuner but don't quote me on that.
