"What happened to Jones Blvd?"

Jones Blvd it back to its good old trashy self, 8 signs per poll at a few intersections. I'll be traveling for the next week and unable to assist removal, except for a few that I'll grab tonight.

Looks like someone is sharking the carpet cleaning guys right after they go up. Keep on them.

Pooper Scooper hit all areas of Las Vegas and Henderson, including the industrial areas. He uses cheep paper signs taped to ground utility transformers. I must of grabbed 40 of these so far.

Making a difference and keeping it clean

The spam is comming back. Figure they struck back on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Got a life but now Ill have to become a low life like the spammers and follow them around. Still keeping score the spammers have 50-60 new signs up, but still losing the game.

Guys:

This is deja'vu of exactly what we went through in the DFW area.
You'll just have to stay the course and sooner or later the spammers will figure out the signs are costing more than their worth.
One thing that will help more than anything is to "recruit" more new sharks by what means necessary.

We know how to do that.

Pops, lets focus on stickering as many signs as possible. If a pole has 8 signs, lets make sure that we sticker every sign on the pole. This will get attention and the likelihood of recruiting more sharks would be great.

I'll be out of town for the next week. However, when I get back, it'll be sticker mania time.

Got some more stickers too!! I'll go back to the poles that were cleaned last week and now are trashed again. People will see these stickers and realize sharks keep the poles clean not C.E.
More sharkies should stop the two or three consistent carpet spammers and Pooper scooper too. I'm on his trail. Hes been quiet for a year or so. Maybe he got his copy machine fixed or got out of jail.

I think we may have had the original "Pooper Scooper" here in Dallas around 5 years ago. They were active locally and trying to franchise. They used color-printed paper signs laminated with clear plastic. The signs were often on 12 inch wooded stakes so they were essentially on the ground. (Maybe they were recruiting at eye-level for a dog.)

I wonder if your signs are from a "licensed" franchisee. Probably not. I don't recall seeing a Pooper Scooper sign in the last three years in the Dallas area.

One thing hes prolific after all the spamm was gone from Vegas he continued. I traced him from Bermuda/Silverado to Farm/Decatur Think he lives off Antelope/Charlie for Vegas sharkies. Using painted signs and paper like Clean Sweep removed.

Type pooper under City of las Vegas Business Liscense. Then property search Clark County Assessors Office and youll find Gomezes hideouts. Chueys and Gomez are buddies. Some of the other spam goes right to their front door.

Good pictures. Since the business location is known, I would file a CE complaint. They should be able to issue a NOV for off-site signs. A complaint takes 5 minutes, pulling their signs down could take longer.

99 signs on the poles, 99 signs, take one down; pass their Name around, now there's 98 signs on the poles.

Did a personel property seach and got several hits. His spam crisscrosses the valley. Some from his addresses some not. No seach reveals a brick and mortar business.
Vegas sharkies should know hes starts at Rainbow/Alta and then usally spams Charlie/Decatur down Decatur to Hecienda. The painted ones.

Thanks for posting the pictures. The Pooper Scooper signs are completely different than those a few years ago in Dallas. I have a feeling scooping poop is probably not a viable business, at least not for franchising.

The guy holding the sign pole is interesting too. He's pimping for a new car dealer in this case. In some cities in the Dallas area these human sign holders are chased away quickly. In other cities (like Dallas) the authorities ignore them even though they are prohibited by ordinance. Personally, I don't challenge them since there could be a physical confrontation. I report them in cities that do something about them but this is rare since they know which cities don't enforce.

These sign twirlers are becoming more frequent. A business here that spammed alot, Surround Sound stopped spamming and went this route for a few months. C.E. may have been behind this change of behavior. Now I see similar spam as Surround Sound popping up again.

Haven't made the connection between spam and sign twirlers though, but could be another avenue of spammers. Being done by sign shops or promotion agency's.

The man talking could have been the employee twirler talking to his employer in the blue truck.

In Austin we had to lean on CE hard to get them to enforce our clearly written law. Actually, we leaned on the City Manager and City Attorney, who in turn leaned on CE. But now they do enforce against the human and guarded signs if a complaint is filed.

I seen a couple franchise trucks near the 800 Junk address you gave me earlier in the year. Seemed diff. M.O. than our spammer. Like to find them again and let them know their competition is violating all the rules.
