Burnsmcd.com is Burns and McDonald - a giant engineering firm based here in Kansas City. They are actually hosting these guys!

Anyway, I just sent off a comment to them via their web page. Will see what happens.

My comment to B&M:
I see that barterkc.com is being hosted on your network.

Barterkc.com is doing a wonderful job of destroying our neighborhoods by placing litter on all the street corners it can.

Why is a company such as Burns and McDonald supporting such activities? I find this deeply troubling considering the reputation of your company in the Kansas City community.

Please visit http://www.causs.org.

Thank you for your time.

Welcome to our army!!!

It's great to see someone from KC here. I travel there alot and am dismayed when I see the amount of street spam there.

Welcome aboard, and thanks for your support!

I've been around a while Just took some time off from visiting the website. That, of course, does not mean I have stopped picking up litter.

Got ahold of some really nice litter last night from the Iron Age Work Boot store in Independence. Big ol' metal signs on the right of way wanting to hire people.

What ever happened to putting an ad in the help wanted section of the newspaper?

I received your email just minutes ago and I am a little confused.

Burns & McDonnell has no business relationship that I know of with
barterkc.com.

Please clarify and thank you for your response.

Sincerely,

I replied back with a traceroute and a long explanation of what all the numbers mean, along with a suggestion that he get with the IS auditors on this.

Sounds to me like an employee there is running his own business on company computers.

Still waiting to see what all happens.

You might want to follow up on this. Ink in the local papers works wonders.

Cool. I was just about to contact KMBC-TV (ABC affiliate). I know a few folks that work in the newsroom.

As of today the site is still up. Looks like B & M decided not to do anything.
