New Baltimore
All signs require a permit, except those noted below.

Sec. 42-97. Location requirements.
(a) No sign, except as otherwise permitted in this chapter, shall be located in, project into, or overhang a public right-of-way or dedicated public easement.
(b) No sign, except those established and maintained by the city, school district, county, state or federal government shall be located within the triangle formed by the intersection of any road right-of-way and/or access drive at points 30 feet distant from the point of their intersection.

(a) The following signs are exempt from the permit requirements of this chapter. The signs shall, however, conform to all applicable regulations specified within this chapter:
1) Home improvement signs.
(2) Family celebration signs.
(3) Disabled person signs.
(4) Historical marker signs.
(5) Identification signs or nameplates.
(6) Lost and found signs.
(7) No trespassing/keep out signs.
(8) Political signs.
(9) Real estate signs for existing homes and lots.
(10) Warning signs and other nonadvertising signs.
(11) Window signs.
