The following email was received in the CAUSS mail box. The rebuttal is below the email. --------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, I completely agree with your organization. But I find it a little bit counterproductive when you place your informational signs on top of street spam. (Or visual clutter as it is known in Indianapolis.) If other small businesses can't use this medium to get their message out, what makes it right for causs to do the same thing?

Lisa:
Please read the FAQ's and you will have your answer. Basically, when the spammers are replacing the spam as fast as it can be removed, then a more exerted effort is effected. When the CE folks are overwhelmed, then it's fight fire with fire. However, CAUSS doesn't promote the use of stickers. Some sharks use it as means to advise the spammers that actions are being taken to put them out of business, not to promote CAUSS.
It's highly unlikely that the web site URL was visable from a car. Most folks like yourself normally have to get out of their car to read it. Information coming in from others in your area, indicate the stickers disable the signs with the international "NO" symbol.
