Been awhile since I've posted, but I'm still at it, as are several of us. Most cityhood signs (both YES and NO) are on private property, but I really question whether permission was requested for most commercial property. Have scooped up only a dozen or so from the ROW. Can hardly wait for this issue to be over.
The Truckload Bunch is still around. Gwinnett police has had a couple of attitude swings about citizen involvement, but things are good once again.

Yes, I have better things to do...but I make time for my community.

Help Please! I live in the Peachtree Corners area. Today the yes city supporters covered all the right of ways in the area. There are signs every 20 to 30 feet on all the major roads in the area. They are all 2 to 4 feet off the road, in the middle of a the medium on 141, at street corners, at the entrances to subdivisions and anywhere they can stick a sign in the ground. Many of the NO CITY signs have been removed from private yards 2 or 3 times. Other NO CITY were slashed with knives. Because it is such a hot issue here we need help. I have lived in Gwinnett and have never seen this number of signs for one purpose before. I remember when the new home subdivisions would post a hundred signs for one neighborhood. It is like 2,000 new home subdivisions sign installments for the yes side. Each one illegally installed. Please help us!!

Wow - this sounds like a real mess. Are these election-related signs? If so, I suppose the good news is that the issue will expire. Of course, it is also likely that the signs will be left standing.
Any chance that Code Enforcement would do their job and remove all of the illegal signs?

I wish I could say that the signs are getting cleaned up in Peachtree Corners but there was another load of them installed today. Just saw a news clip with the head of the yes side stand in a area filled with more yes signs getting ready to be installed tomorrow.
The latest news is that the yes cityhood side cut the NO out of the Large NO City signs last night. We have now had signs removed from private yards multiple times (each yard), signs slashed with boxcutters and now the are cutting large holes in our signs.
Please help us. I would love to see the yes get a huge fine. I count the no signs in the right of ways today and got about 10. The yes signs are in the hundreds.
