"Lennar, KB, Dupree, Inland, and Mercedes Homes in Pasco"

Having a really hard time ignoring the 100+ signs that these guys put up every Saturday morning - taking them down on Sunday evening.

The area involved is along SR54 between Little Road and US41. It's a 15 mile stretch, and the signs are prolific.

I have randomly pulled a few of them (those easiest to reach), flinging them out of sight - I've stickered them with "SPAM - DO NOT SUPPORT BUSINESSES THAT LITTER OUR STREETS" - but the stickers were removed within a few hours. Now, I'd like to hit them in a wave...

I have a truck, and would love to do this in tandem (or more) in the cover of darkness - maybe on a Sat night.

Pasco Code Enforcement does not work on the weekends (or any time during the week with regard to these types of signs).

Anyone in the area want to lend a hand?

It would be tough from Georgia, I can tell you if they are continually removed from an area, they learn.

Start small. I started removing about a half mile of one road. They simply stopped posting them there, then moved around the corners. I then slightly expanded into those corners and a bit more. They moved further. I moved further. They moved further, but never wnet back into the original area.

They learn. Any sign placed within three miles of this road it will disappear. It took two years, but there are no more builder signs in my immendiate area.

.

Oh, there's a hint of cool in the air, and Winter is coming! I've got to gather more firewood... And Sign stakes make great fire starters!

Ack! Bandit Signs are LITTER!
