"Hey guys i'm back !!! the recycler !!"

Ok guys im the same guy who posted previously about recycling yard signs in florida, i forgot my password so i made a new account, heres the low down, past few months i was on military deployment but im back now and this sign recycling thing is realy taking off, right now i'm buying signs from a guy in longwood who posts signs for the apartments, im paying him .25 cents a sign with noo stakes. He gives me the ones from apartment complexs that have quit utilizing his sign posting bussiness.

The past month I have been reserching methods to get the ink off these signs even more effectively than before, and just yesterday I came up with a great solution that is going to allow me to process these signs faster than ever. But thiers still one problem....

After extensive reserch i have concluded that thier is baisically three types of ink on signs (when looking at it from a recycling point of view), thier is the
#1 "UV curable inks"
#2 and then thier is the "inks that air dry"
#3 "then thier is the wierd ink that cracks and is rough and i have no idea what it is"

UV curable inks and the #3 inks are a real pain and have been giving me trouble from the beggining, i currently have a method to remove the ink but its too messy to really be used yet, im still refining the process...

but thankfully most signs are not UV ink signs i would estimate rougly 60 percent or more are the common #2 type that i can easily get the ink off of no problem whatsoever.

Ok guys so bottom line is i will pay you guys .25 cents a sign even without the stakes (extra money with the stakes too) so you could be looking at .25-.50 cents per sign (remembering that those two types of ink i cant use.

so you might be thinking "well i have no freaking clue which kind of signs are which", well if you want to find out its really easy, just get some nail polish remover, (acetone) and put a little bit on the sign if the ink smudges than its a #2 sign and I can use it. HINT acetone has absolutely nothing to do with my secret method for removing sign inks.

Finally let me say this I know theres going to be alot of people saying be carefull, well my roomate is a police officer and i can bring him along to make sure im safe, but it would be a good idea to figure out a way to pickup / pay for these signs without a face to face meet for my and your safety, if anyone has any suggestions how this can be sone absolutely safely let me know please,

heres my idea you drop off the signs at an undisclosed location then tell me on email where thier at... then i will pick up the signs at any random time over the next few days, finnally i would either pay you on paypal or i could leave cash in a hidden envelope at the site and email u back when i pick it up, i dont think all this is really neccessary but im kinda concerned since everone has been talking alot about hackers and stuff on here, email me at recyclear@gmail.com or at vafund@gmail.com and let me know if anyones intrested, if no one is i might just start hiring people to drive around and pick up signs

Well, it still sounds fishy at 25-50 cents per sign. Nevertheless, it is possible. If your process works, it sure would change the economics of the whole operation.

There is a code enforcement officer in Seminole County, I think. Maybe he will post and offer to meet with you.

Caution is always advised. We have had some real crazy spammers posting here over recent years. Most are just abusive and disruptive. Some have gone over the line.

Signs recycled and re-reprinted with new advertising is still litter.

.

Oh, there's a hint of cool in the air, and Winter is coming! I've got to gather more firewood... And Sign stakes make great fire starters!

Ack! Bandit Signs are LITTER!

No they're not, they are just signs.

It would be very desirable if those who recycle the sign material get agreements that the new signs will be used responsibly.

I thought Orlando was a problem area. Now you can’t find concentrations of signs?

If you are telling the truth and not yanking our chain, you appear to be cleaning up litter.

These signs may get back into the hands of spammers, right? If the spammers places the sign again, you pull it again; sell it again; over and over again. Seems like the spammers are getting the short end of the Stake. Do you feel guilty for taking advantage of these street scum scammer spammers?

Will you have to expand your coverage area to get more free signs? To answer your question of where, Los Vegas,Nevada is spammed out. Can you get Vegas cleaned up? How does your area look now, as compared to before you started? Do you maintain a coverage area keeping it sign free? If one of these recyclers comes to my area, am I going to be sitting around like the Maytag Man?

Please let us know more about this.

I rest my case, Newbie (NOT). The bulk of these will end up in the ROW and I'm just not going to play.

orlando is definetly looking cleaner than when i started, but man these signs just dont stop, i have been collecting an average of 100 per day and after clearing evrey sign for 15 square miles there all back in about 4 days

i was aking about other concentrations because soo i might be steeping up my production volume..

orange county has provisions that allow you to place street spam legally but almost no one knows of it and you have to pay a county tax, to my amazement last week i found the first signs with tax stickers from orange county i had ever seen, i guess the guy had gotten tired of me pulling his signs...i think i had taken his no less than 20 times.... i was really torn between weather to take the sign or not i just sat thier dumbfounded for a minute trying to decide what to do, so thats when i first relized that my efforts were having an effect.

Wow legal street spam! Its seems one mans trash could be anothers treasures.

I use them to make modules for predevelopement forms for some futurist production design. A homeless shelter. Need an architect to build a house of the stuff. Stuff is strong. Oh yea and catch oil under my car before it stains my concrete.

Some many dreams though end up in the dumpsters.

Vegas dreamers they pop up here from everywhere!!
