After one hell of a month on kicking sign violators butts, to the tune of over $50k in citations collected, I get a letter sent to the department head saying we do not do our jobs. I mean give me a break!!! We had our officers give up 2 weekends, one early and one late in the month, for sign blitz. We removed about 5000 signs on those two weekends. I have personaly written and collected on 98 citations ranging from $255 to $355. Most of this done in the area where this person is claiming we do not do our job. I would like to be able to just avoid this section of town for (Oh I don't know 6 months) a few weeks and let this SOB see what it looks like when we do not do our job. I have a bunch of good citizians that are out on the streets helping us remove this blight. This P.O.S. likes to call in complaints (Anonymously) and give the wrong location (expecting)my officers to waste time driving around the area to find what he was talking about. This would not be so bad except I have only got 13 officers to cover 840 square miles. If i skip out on a bad area to show this guy something I hurt the godd folks that live there. Sorry just needed to vent.

No this person is not a spammer. I know who it is, he is a scum sucking bottom dweller. He even raises hell because I will not signt the businesses that are flying the American Flag ( or displaying Red, White, and Blue, or Stars and Strips). I know they are more than likely doing it just to draw attention ( in violation of the sign codes), but On the chance that they are just being supportive of our troops I leave them alone. I do make them keep their display crisp and sharp( Remove old faded colors) and respect the Flag. If they do not then I will sight them. I feel this is fair in our current state of national afairs( and also being a vet).

There are other monsters down there. That have nothing better to dothan slow down efforts to clean up the place. More than likely this person got caught violating Homestead exemptions or building code violations again.
