"anybody still out there?"

These clowns are out of control again. Spring has brought out the painters and the lawn services. I got some of them on my own street. And the damn house buyers. And some "townsingles.com" where 'town' can be any town. I guess we'll be doing this forever.

Those idiots put up their illegal signs all around metro Denver this year. They didn't last long.

They were really cheap signs, too - 1'x1' coroplast on low wire ladders. A sheet of paper with the URL was shrinkwrapped onto the coroplast.

I'm still around. I've picked up a bunch of signs from a local pizza place in E. Windsor this week. They make a good shield when I'm spraying weed killer around plants I want to keep.

I also got a message recently from those #%#!&&@ at the Yahoo group who stole the email accounts. They invited me to join their group, and they copied the information in the message posted by aj in the General forum area. It reminded me to stop by here for a visit. I sent a note to Yahoo complaining of harassment. I'm not sure how it will be acted on since I told them I gave them a bogus email address since I didn't want them giving the real one to spammers.

Yeah, I'm still here. And lucky that I have a small town to cover; except for the occasional local, or College Pro painter, the spammers seem to have learned that 24 hours is the max their signs will survive.

The College Pro signs are great for recycling - they're printed on plastic film which goes into the recycling and have very thick (at least 8-gauge) wire frames which make great plant supports for the vegetable garden.

But whenever I'm up your way, I'll be sure to have the utlitty knife and the visegrips packed and ready so help you out.

Hang in there.
