"education?"

OK, now I've seen everything! I was driving through our capital city, Hartford, this weekend. Almost every corner had a red step-stake sign. Guess who the perp is????

I doubt you guessed it unless you've seen them. The City of Hartford! The signs are promoting their preschool program so perhaps it's a good cause but...

what are they teaching here?

I have a problen with the public school enrollment signs that appear once or twice a year before school starts. They clearly are a benefit to people who move into the neighborhood. However, they are often in the median. I wish the schools would get a permit from the city rather than just putting out the signs.

I call my local muni CE and let them handle the issue, especially for the signs in the medians.
It seems to work.
