"Getting some help in CT"

LAST EDITED ON 12-06-01 AT 01:41 PM (CST)

I was sharking a sign this morning abot 20 feet from a State trooper (parked in his cruiser). He got out of his car and came over (with a big smile) for a chat.

He didn't know that the signs were specifically made illegal by State statute (I guess the cops can't read ALL the laws and remember them) until I showed him the copy that I carry with me.

I asked him if he would take my business card and give me a call when he saw a particular area that had been infested by spam signs. He not only agreed, but took a few extra cards to give to others in his troop.

Having these extra eyes on the lookout should help us shorten the lifespan of the signs considerably.

Sharks, you might want to try this where you live. I bet most of the cops dislike spam signs as much as the rest of us do, and can be a good "force multiplier" for your efforts.
