I recently noticed the CAUSS stickers on some signs attached to utility poles in Vernon, CT. I have been removing these signs for years, only to see them replaced as fast as they are removed. This organization is a great idea! Where can I obtain some CAUSS stickers, to help out?

Please go to the General Forum and pull up CAUSS Stickers. You can make your own or download them from our files at:

Before you put up a lot of stickers in your area, please coordinate this with Redstone on the CT forum. There are guidelines that we try to stay within.

Welcome to CAUSS!
If you look through the messages in this forum, you'll find that there are several of us who try to coordinate our "coverage" in order to clean up the widest area possible.
For example, I used to run down to New London every couple of weeks, but now Jason and his friends are taking good care of that part of the state, freeing my time up for other places.
We also try to advise others of where we've been - for example, if I do make a foray into Jason's "territory, I let him know so he doesn't have to waste time driving to a place where I've already cleaned up. If you could do the same and let us know where you do your sharking, that's be great.
Regarding the stickers: most of us in CT don't use them, preferring to use phone calls to the spammers for deterrence (read the posts in this forum and the general forum for more). This doesn't mean that you should not use them; they can be quite effective. However, I'd ask that you continue to remove most of the signs, and maybe leave one per intersection up with a sticker on it. The reason for this is that our primary goal is to keep Connecticut clean, and one stickered sign per intersection would be an effective deterrent without a bunch of clutter.
Just my opinion; we're in this for a common cause, so whatever you find works the best to keep your area clean is OK. But please do keep in touch through the forum; I (and others) get all around the state and may be able to help you out.
