"Someone needs help in Milford"

Went to Milford today for an assignment, and there's someone down there who is trying to stem the tide; there were sliced sign remnants all along Woodmont Road in the industrial area.

But Route 1 is a mess, as you might imagine. I ripped down as many signs as I could, being in a hurry to get back to the office, but there are a bunch left.

I'll be back down there in a couple of weeks, but in the interim if anyone is in Milford, please help this unknown shark out.

I was in West Haven over the weekend. Somebody there is using black spray paint to wipe out the phone numbers.

And somebody got 2 signs I've been meaning to get back to in Hamden in North Haven. We're not the only ones doing this.

Here in northern CT, the health insurance signs are posted higher on the poles. I've found that putting some acetone on a paper towel and then wrapping it on a stick will give you the height to smear the numbers. The acetone seems to only work on that type of sign. Spray paint can be a problem if some overspray gets on nearby cars.

I mix up pulling down signs and removing the identification. Got 16 tonight.
