Here in central Denver, I have been seeing a bunch of bright yellow "AVOID FORECLOSURE" signs. I sharked out a bunch of them, including the one on Speer Boulevard @ Downing Street.
Keep an eye out for the signs advertising Christmas light installation. I nailed a few of them, as well.
I see few of the junk cars wooden signs any more, although I did have to paint over one at Elsworth Avenue and Clarkson Street.
I kinda like the "College Hunks Hauling Junk" signs! They have college-type colors and are very well done. I saved one for my patio! Someone planted one at a small construction area at Pablo's coffee as a joke. I grabbed it, but feel bad. I'll remove the number and put it back!

Hi:
Thanks for your help!
Are those forclosure signs about 18" wide x 8" high yellow coroplast on short wire ladders with handwritten lettering? If so, that scam has been running for a month or two. Last weekend, they placed illegal signs at every exit of C470 west and I70 west. I also heard that the weekend before that, they placed hundreds of illegal signs along S. Wadsworth and in neighborhood feeder streets.
Be sure to keep an eye out for them and know that if you see one, there will be dozens more on the route.
Also, please call your City Council member and complain that the city is doing nothing about these eyesores. They are also doing nothing about the hundreds of wooden "I buy junk cars" on telephone poles throughout the city. I understand they place signs in the Peoria & I70 area several times a week. I drove out there several months ago and they were stacked 4 and 5 deep - someone had painted over them and the spammer stacked up new ones.
The "we hang christmas lights .com" signs were out on S. C470 this weekend but didn't last long.
