"Outbreak in Westminster"

Numerous signs appeared in Westminster recently:

1) 1-888-974-JOBS

2) CEO INCOME FROM HOME

3) www.DenverSingles.org

4) JUNK CARS WANTED

Some 20 signs harvested in the last few days. Most commonly Coroplast supported by a welded rod frame.

What specific locations, please?

What areas need attention? What streets and intersections?

I know that Kipling and Wadsworth between 6th and I70 are clean as of this morning.

Thanks,

DenverShark

I am covering Pecos, Federal, Sheridan and Wadsworth between 64th and 104th. Signs were widely scattered with no particular concentrations. I could see that the perps drove through planting a sign every so often. Signs #1 & 2 are the exact same kind and close together so it's likely the same perp is planting them. Wish the printer would put their logo somewhere on the sign. There oughta be a law.

Oh, by the way, Hi!

And... there is a law!

Please post exactly what the signs say.

Also, keep an eye out for those $10/hour with benefits on large white coroplast signs, black on white. They're put out by some friends of police organization to recruit telemarketers. Unbelievable.

And... keep an eye out for singles signs - these need to disappear as soon as they sprout.

Finally, two more repeat offenders: painters who put up professionally-printed yellow painted trash bag type signs on wire frames (Klein is an example), and the I9 sports signs - part of a corporate franchise.

It's fall, the days are getting shorter
and I'm hungry for new coroplast.

Hi There!

Sorry I don't have the time to transcribe all these spam signs, but here are pictures:
http://etc.Gnarlodious.com/Images/Junk_Signs/

What I meant was that commercial printers should be required to put their business name on the signs. Would make litterers easier to trace.

Hey, thanks for the pics. Here are my comments on them:

- The We Buy Junk Cars guy is testing the waters again. After having hundreds of his signs sharked each year for the last two years, he is putting up an occasional sign here and there to see if he gets caught.

- The CEO Income signs: there are two (or more of these clowns). One is undoubtedly the I Buy Antiques guy on W. Colfax (the routes are the same as for his old antiques spam. Key areas that need to be watched:

I70 & Federal
I70 & Pecos
I76 and Federal
I76 and Pecos
I36 and Sheridan

Alameda and W. C470

- The $10/hour spam is repeatedly placed on:

Sheridan & 38th
Sheridan & 10th
Wadwsorth, N of I70, near the big box hardware stores

- The Buy Your Home type signs typically go up at major highway intersections, as noted above.

- Also, there is a new scam about fixing your credit rating, with yellow coroplast signs at those major highway exist.
- Also watch for big yellow trash bag type painters signs at I70 and Youngfield exits and other I70 exist.

Enjoy!
