I was at work, so I missed it, but a friend told me that the 5 or 6pm news on KCRA 3 (sacramento valley) had a report on the sign problems around sacramento, the people dealing with it, and who they're going after (including herbalife)

Did anyone see this, have a transcript, or even better, have the video recorded/encoded?

Are you in the area? Could you contact the station and ask for a tape of the segment? You might be able to talk them out of one for free, although sometimes they charge for them. If you can get the tape, we can get the video up on the website.

I didn't see the video, but I found an article on their Web site:

The article says the city of Sacramento is getting tough on street spam and promising to prosecute the people who put up street spam. They're also asking for volunteers to help remove the signs, as well.

I wonder if they read the report at cockeyed.com and decided to take action, or if they've been planning this all along.
