anyone notice an increace in the "finally affordable health insurance spam" in the bay area.

It's not only an increase in the bay area, but all over the country. It appears these folks are our next "big" project.

I wonder what proportion of these "affordable health insurance" folks are former Herbalifers that couldn't bear the thought of trying to scam a buck without putting coroplast signs all over the place...

I've wondered about that. I've been keeping an eye on these affordable insurance scams people here in Denver. Currently, they seem to be the same 4 or 5 people that were putting up illegal signs when herbaloss was still promoting their own signs. In other words, I haven't seen a dramatic increase in the types of AHI signs. But they are sure more noticeable now that HL spam is gone.

I know many folks don't like to sticker. But if one were to sticker the AHI signs, I think the following would be quite effective:
