"reusing sharked signs"

TO RECYCLE SIGNS
Make a self aerating compost bin out of the stakes and signs.

I made 2' by 4' panels out the wooden stakes and plastic signs.

Compost has to be aerated to prevent bad smell. People usually aerate by turning the pile over with a pitch fork every few days.

I laid a few stakes down on the ground before I started the pile. I left the ends of the stakes protruding just out side the bin. I filled the bin with lawn wasted. I waited a day and pulled out the stakes I had laid on the ground. When the stakes were removed they left small tunnels underneath the compost pile that allows air into the pile.

The pile of yard waste has been composting with very little smell and I have not had to turn the pile yet.

Plastic signs and wooden stakes make a great compost bin.

SHARKS GO GREEN!
