"$2,500 Fines in Phoenix for Sign Spam!"


          

The City of Phoenix is serious about fighting street spam on traffic light poles! They have warnings of hefty fines posted on the poles.

Today I took a photo of one of the stickers that Phoenix has on their traffic light poles.

It reads:

KEEP PHOENIX CLEAN

DON'T
GET FINED.

DON'T
POST SIGNS.

City of Phoenix

Anyone posting signs on this pole
is subject to a $2,500 fine (sec 3-6; 8)

I am attaching a low resolution photo.

It would be nice to see more of these in other cities. This way the law and fines are clearly displayed right in front of the idiots who post illegal signs!

I'm jealous! In Colorado Springs, city council say post those sign on weekends we like them. :^(
